The group has budgeted 500 Crore topline, by end of FY 22/23, to infuse 300 crores for JV’s and launches 2 new Joint Venture practices today

Despite the pullback due to 2nd and 3rd wave Covid19, the group posted close to 200 Crore revenue last financial year 21/22

Hyderabad 23rd April 2022: MaxiVision Eye Hospitals, one of the largest eye care networks in Telangana & AP, with 21 eye hospitals, and over 70 full-time eye care surgeons, have announced their aggressive expansion plans to neighbouring states, Tamilnadu, Karnataka, and Gujarat. With over 27 years of stellar practice in the states of Andhra and Telangana, Maxivision is the first choice of quality eye care for the population of these two states.

The group had planned its expansion plan in the year 2020 itself, which was slowed down due to the pandemic and uncertainty in the market. Last financial year 21/22, despite the pullback due to 2nd and 3rd wave Covid19, which hit 5 months of operations, the group posted close to 200 Crore revenue, from 21 Eye Care Centres.

MaxiVision has a unique model, of acquisitions, in good reputed eye care practices in India. It was in 2019, they launched the first such model, with a leading practice of Dr.Sharat Babu Chilukuri, in Warangal, and within 2 years of association, the JV has posted 3 times growth post-merger. The JV Sarath Maxivision Eye Hospital which started with one hospital is now having 3 Super Specialty hospitals in Warangal, Khammam, Karimnagar, and also 7 Vision Centres in deep rural Telangana.

With this confidence, and proof of success, the group signed off its 2nd JV in November 2021 with one of the leading practices in Narsaraopet, Dr.Ramalinga Reddy, who enjoys 35 years of stellar eye care practice in the Narsaraopet District. Maxivision steps in as a majority partner in the practice and augments the current practice, and accelerates an expansion plan with a joint brand name. Our Team has around 20/25 prospects lined up for agreements and roll out in the year 22/23, for which the company is infusing around 300 crores to acquire these practices. Currently, we hold 100% stakes in the company, and we are in the process of fundraising discussions with top Private equity firms in the globe. Meantime, Our Greenfield projects will go on, with around 150 Crore infusion into the growth fund of the company. *RapidEVChargE to install 1000+ EV charging units across the Telugu States in 18 months*

*RapidEVChargE to install 1000+ EV charging units across the Telugu States in 18 months*

- Company is in talks with channel partners to spread its wings in Telangana & AP

Hyderabad: RapidEVChargE, one of the fastest-growing EV charging solutions companies is all set to expand its footprint pan-India and aims to install more than 1000 EV charging units across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh in the next 18 months. In addition to manufacturing a wide range of EV chargers, the RapidEVChargE’s proprietary software is the only indigenously developed solution that allows compatibility and an optimized user experience. RapidEVChargE is in the advanced stage of talks with channel partners who would help the “Brand” spread its wings in the Telugu States.

The Indian automotive industry is the fifth-largest in the world and is slated to be the third-largest by 2030. The electric vehicle industry in India is picking pace with new manufacturing hubs, and an increased push to improve charging infrastructure. While the global automotive industry is witnessing a transition towards alternative/less energy-intensive options, India too is investing heavily into electric mobility. The burden of oil imports and rising pollution levels are compelling countries around the world to commit to cutting pollution levels, and e-mobility is one of the key components to achieving the set targets.

Commenting on the company’s prospects, Mr. P. Sivasubramaniam, Founder & CEO, of RapidEVChargE said, “Tapping into the great EV market opportunity India offers, RapidEVChargE has developed products to suit the needs of individual or common use partners for domestic or commercial utility. RapidEVChargE is on the fast lane to grow across the country, by installing AC, DC, and CC varieties of chargers. The company is also in talks with automobile OEMs and other business establishments to provide them with suitable EV charging solutions. With a large portfolio of 14 models, RapidEVChargE platform is integrated to the cloud, and offers easy solutions for EV charging, including payment and helps achieve high uptime.”

The Indian EV technology evolution is witnessing sizable investments in R&D and product development, both on the automobile platforms and battery/charging technology. It is being estimated that India needs about 400,000 charging stations to meet the requirement for two million EVs that could potentially ply the roads by the year 2026. India needs a transportation revolution because cars running on expensive imported fuel and cluttering up already overcrowded cities suffering from infrastructure bottlenecks and intense air pollution is an unfeasible model.

Enforcement Directorate (ED) attached assets worth Rs.757.77Crore belonging to M/s. Amway India

Enforcement Directorate (ED) has provisionally attached assets worth Rs.757.77Crore belonging to M/s. Amway India Enterprises Private Limited, a company accused of running a multi-level marketing scam. The attached properties include land and factory building of Amway at Dindigul District, Tamil Nadu, Plant & Machineries, vehicles, bank accounts, and fixed deposits. ED had provisionally attached immovable & movable properties worth Rs 411.83 Crore and bank balances of Rs 345.94 Crore from 36 different accounts belonging to Amway.

A money-laundering investigation by the ED revealed that Amway is running a pyramid fraud in the guise of direct selling multi-level marketing network. It is observed that the prices of most of the products offered by the company are exorbitant as compared to the alternative popular products of reputed manufacturers available in the open market. Without knowing the real facts, the common gullible public is induced to join as members of the company and purchase products at exorbitant prices and are thus losing their hard-earned money. The new members are not buying the products to use them, but to become rich by becoming members as showcased by the upline members. The reality is that the commissions received by the upline members contribute enormously to the hike in prices of the products.
It is observed that the company has collected an amount of Rs. 27562 Crore from its business operations from 2002-03 to 2021-22 and out of above, the company has paid a commission of Rs. 7588 Crore to its distributors & members in India and in the USA during F.Y 2002-03 to 2020-21.
The entire focus of the company is about propagating how members can become rich by becoming members. There is no focus on the products. Products are used to masquerade this MLM Pyramid fraud as a direct selling company.
Amway has brought Rs. 21.39 Crores as share capital in India in 1996-97 and till F.Y 2020-21, the company has remitted the huge amount of Rs. 2859.10 Crore in the name of dividend, royalty, and other payments to their investors and parent entities.
M/s. Britt Worldwide India Private Limited and M/s. Network TwentyOne Private Limited also played a major role in promoting the pyramid scheme of Amway by conducting seminars for joining members under the guise of sale of goods by enrollment of members in the chain system. The promoters are conducting mega conventions and flaunting their lavish lifestyle and using social media to lure gullible investors.

Why eye allergies are more in summer?

Why Eye Allergies are more in summer?

Authored by: Dr. Seshachalam Nitin MBBS, MS Cataract & Lasik Surgeon, Maxi Vision Eye Hospital Hyderabad

(Photo Credit: Teach Middle East Magazine ). Allergies can affect different parts of the body like the respiratory system and the skin. However the eyes also are commonly affected by allergies which could lead to a myriad variety of symptoms: red, burning and itchy eyes watering of eyes ropy or clear discharge excessive eye watering foreign body sensation (feeling of sand in the eye) puffiness of eyelids. These eye symptoms could also be accompanied by respiratory symptoms like frequent sneezing, colds, runny nose, wheezing and breathing difficulty in asthmatics and also skin rashes in some cases. The main reason behind the increase in allergies is increased Pollen in the air in summer. Pollen are microscopic particles naturally released from plants and trees during this season. Some people are hypersensitive to this pollen, which when inhaled by them, causes their immune system to trigger a defensive response in the form of antibodies and chemicals like histamine that trigger the typical symptoms as described above.

  • LIMIT ALLERGEN EXPOSURE Pollen, dust mites, mold etc are the common allergens encountered in our environment.
  • The use of sunglasses outdoors and masks (thank you covid protocols) can go a long way in reducing exposure to these.
  • Pollen levels are highest in the mornings and evenings and movement outdoors can be prevented at these times if possible.
  • Also staying away from pollutants like automobile exhausts, cigarette smoke etc. helps to prevent triggering symptoms.
  • Frequent vacuuming, changing bed linen more frequently, use of HEPA filters or air conditioning with proper air filtration can limit our exposure to the triggers Indoors.
  • People with pets have to be extra careful in this regard.
  • Contact lens users have to be extra careful as the surface of the lens can attract and accumulate allergens making your symptoms worse.

Ideally, avoid use of lenses and switch over to glasses. If unavoidable, try to use daily disposable lenses. NO EYE RUBBING This is very important as rubbing our eyes causes the release of histamine, which in turn causes more itching and thus becomes a vicious cycle. The easiest way is to use an ice pack over the eyes whenever they feel itchy. Wrap a few ice cubes in a clean cloth and place it over closed eyelids for atleast 5 mins. This goes a long way in reducing redness and itchiness. Another issue with eye rubbing is that it introduces allergens around the eye and nose and therefore has to be avoided.

It was observed that a significant amount of false content published by the these Indian YouTube based channels related to the ongoing situation in Ukraine, and aimed at jeopardizing India’s foreign relations with other countries.

Modus Operandi

The blocked Indian YouTube channels were using templates and logos of certain TV news channels, including images of their news anchors to mislead the viewers to believe that the news was authentic. False thumbnails were used; and title and thumbnail of the videos were frequently altered to increase the virality of content on social media. In certain cases, it was also observed that systematic anti-India fake news was originating from Pakistan.

Biological e ltd to get mRNA Tech from WHO to Produce COVID-19 Vaccines*

WHO selects BE as a recipient of mRNA technology

Biological E. Limited produces a number of critical & life-saving vaccines, including CORBEVAXTM

Hyderabad, April 4, 2022: Biological E. Limited (BE), one of the world’s largest vaccine manufacturers, has today announced that it has been selected as a recipient of mRNA technology from the World Health Organisation (WHO) technology transfer hub.
After examining a number of proposals from India, the World Health Organisation's Advisory Committee on Vaccine Product Development (ACPDV) selected Biological E. Limited as a recipient of mRNA technology from the WHO technology transfer hub.

WHO and their partners will work with the Indian government and BE to develop a roadmap and put in place the necessary training and support for BE to start producing mRNA vaccines as soon as possible.

Primarily set up to address the COVID-19 emergency, the WHO mRNA technology transfer hub has the potential to expand manufacturing capacity for other products as well, including treatments, and target other priorities.

mRNA vaccines use a messenger RNA created in a laboratory to teach the human cells how to produce a protein that in turn initiates an immune response inside the body against a particular disease. The immune response will fight the actual virus as it gets into the body. At present, India has no COVID-19 vaccine made on mRNA platform.
Ms. Mahima Datla, Managing Director, Biological E. Limited, said "We are excited about this remarkable milestone in our efforts to produce affordable vaccines for the world. We are very pleased with the trust that WHO places in our organisation, which adheres to the standards set by the WHO. This is also a reflection of our world-class processes, scale and effectiveness. BE has been investing in mRNA technologies since last year. This new technology will definitely strengthen our resolve to develop and manufacture more vaccines in future. This partnership with WHO will enhance our ability to develop next generation mRNA vaccines that could be more suitable globally and expand the reach of vaccines availability worldwide.’’
