Aster Prime Hospitals vaccinates 1000 people in one of the first mass vaccination drives at PEBL city Hyderabad
Aster Prime Hospitals, Ameerpet, Hyderabad is a unit of Aster DM Health Care has organized a mass vaccination camp at PEBL City, Hyderabad today. PEBL City comprises of more than 1800 households and a population of 6000 people. The camp is organized jointly by PEBL City COVID Task Force and Aster Prime Hospitals, Ameerpet, Hyderabad.
As part of the drive, Aster Prime Hospitals has setup 10 vaccination counters with a target to vaccinate 1000 plus vaccinations in a single day. The vaccination drive is organized in PEBL city, a gated community after the state government has approved mass vaccination drive to the residents of gated community. Vaccination team from Aster Prime Hospitals comprising of DMOs, Nursing and Paramedical Staff are supported by Volunteers from COVID task force of PEBL City Owner’s Association has given responsibilities to manage all the ten counters to perform various duties of registration etc.
Speaking on the occasion after inaugurating first such mass vaccination drive in a gated community of Hyderabad by a Hospital, Mr. KT Devanand has appreciated the efforts of PEBL City taskforce in tackling the COVID pandemic in an effective way. He further explained that such mass vaccination drives to vaccinate closed knit communities are the need of the hour in fighting CORONA outbreak. He assured all the possible help from Aster Prime Hospitals to complete vaccination efforts of PEBL City Owners Association to all its residents. He said that Aster Prime Hospital is always in forefront of fighting COVID and will continue to do so with various measures.
Before that thanking Aster Prime Hospitals, PEBL City House Owner Association President Chandramohan Mohan and Capt. Ankur Angrish, General Secretary has explained various measures undertaken by the association in order to fight the pandemic. They thanked Telangana state government to allow mass vaccination program in gated communities and appreciated the efforts of Aster Prime Hospital in undertaking such drives. They appealed to all the residents to participate in vaccination drive thus enabling the association to inoculate all its residents. Drive to continue on 30th May and 5th June with same number of beneficiaries.
The program was attended by Sri KT Devanand, CEO, Aster Prime Hospitals along with PEBL City Owner's Association (PCOA) comprises Capt. Ankur Angrish - General Secretary, Venkateswary Reddy - Joint General Secretary, Sushil Saroj - Facility Manager and their VERT (Volunteer Emergency Response Team), Covid Taskforce Team comprising of Security, Housekeeping, PCOA Staffs and Indis Teams.
